A Muslim man held in police custody was forcefully branded an 'Om' sign, forced to fast on Navatri and denied food for two days in Tihar.

Case Update:
April 19, 2019: CCTV footage, medical reports, and statements by other inmates were due within 24 hours. No information was bought forward.
April 22, 2019: Magistrate requested a second time for the information to be bought forward, prisons officials requested one week to submit information.
April 30, 2019: Jail officials filed a 200 page report. Details of the report are unknown as the victim's lawyer, Advocate Jagmohan, was not given a copy.
